Langstrasse SBB – Zurich
I created a massive park over this large switching yard of tracks, normally used for riding and shunting trains. The reward is massive because this area is this large. Turning this giant logistically area into a carrier for a canopy.
This huge green zone with trees and bushes will support the city cooling in hot summer. Slopes create a playground for children, tearing light upon the tracks for the train conductors. This landscape invites leisure and recovery as a green carpet heading towards the Swiss Alps.
I see lazy Sunday walks with your dog, while you are updating your mum on your personal life. I see small children with their first bikes riding small slopes as if they were chasing down an enormous hill.
